Good evidence can become weak evidence when it is unreadable, incomplete, badly translated or uploaded in the wrong category. File preparation should make verification easier, not decorate the application.
Mission requirements can change. Confirm the responsible mission and live official guidance immediately before submission and payment.
Use accepted formats
Mission guidance can specify PDF, JPG or JPEG and maximum file sizes. The London embassy currently states that files should not exceed 3 MB and that screenshots and password-protected files are not accepted. Verify the rule for your own mission.
Keep documents legible
Scan every page at a readable resolution, include edges and official marks, and avoid redaction unless the mission explicitly allows it. Compression should not blur names, dates, balances or signatures.
Translate correctly
If a document is not in Thai or the language accepted by the mission, check whether certified translation and legalisation are required. Translation rules are mission-specific and can depend on where the document was issued.
Create a predictable order
Within each upload category, put the strongest primary evidence first, followed by supporting documents and a concise explanation if necessary. Use a cover index for multi-document PDFs and retain original files.
